AskSia is a rapidly growing AI study companion, serving as the core learning tool for
more than 100,000 users worldwide. My team redesigned the workspace and file management
system to give the product a scalable foundation for its rapid expansion.

## Challenge

As students uploaded more course materials and ran more AI sessions, the original
workspace became hard to navigate. Files, chats, and study outputs were scattered, and
the structure could not keep up with new features.

## Solution

A restructured workspace that organizes materials by course, keeps AI conversations tied
to the files they reference, and makes file management predictable across the product.

## Impact

The new foundation supported continued growth and made it faster for the team to ship new
learning features without reworking navigation.

## Research and design analysis

Usability testing and a design analysis of the existing product surfaced where students
lost context. Key insights guided the information architecture and the constraints the
team worked within.

## Reflection

Working inside a fast-moving AI product taught me to design systems that stay flexible as
capabilities change.
